According to Maine law, any person working in schools in the State of Maine must meet the fingerprinting requirement and undergo a Criminal History Record Check. There will be a $55 fee for the fingerprinting.

You can sign up for fingerprinting on-line at the Maine Department of Education Website at www.state.me.us/education. Then choose Training and Development, then Fingerprint Schedule.
