The Board will sign the warrants for the budget at their May 13, 2008 Board meeting held at the Stockton Springs Elementary School.

The District Budget Validation Meeting will be held on May 27, 2008 at 6:30 pm at the HS/MS Cafetorium in Searsport. This is the first of two steps in a new budget process required by state law. This is a public meeting where district residents will vote on the 2008-09 district budget.

The second step in the process is a referendum to be held on June 10, 2008, where district voters will approve or not approve the budget decided on at the District Budget Validation Meeting.
