The MSAD #56 Board of Directors will cease to exist on June 30, 2009. It will be replaced by a newly elected Board of Directors for the newly formed Regional School Unit with MSAD #34. The following are the district's representatives to the RSU #20 Board of Directors.

As per their vote at the Board meeting held on September 23, 2008, the MSAD #56 Board of Directors has voted to modify their meeting schedule for the rest of this school year. The Board will meet on the second Tuesday only. Board Committees will meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, as necessary. These committee meetings will be held at the Education Center in Searsport. The following lists Board meeting dates for the next several months, all beginning at 6:30 pm:

December 9, 2008 at the Education Center in Searsport.

January 13, 2009 at the Education Center in Searsport

February 10, 2009 at the Frankfort Elementary School.

March 10, 2009 at the Stockton Springs Elementary School.

April 14, 2009 at the Education Center in Searsport.
